Talent galore in Lephalale Teens

Fifteen year old Kyle Mcdonald, a learner at Hoerskool Ellisras organised a Teens Talent show that involved all teens in Lephalale. The finale show was held at Lephalale Mall on the 10th of March. Participants were sourced through different auditions to make the final cut.

This came after he was chosen to be a member of the International Leadership Academy (ILA) in Lephalale, where he had to run community projects as part of his membership.
Teenagers from various schools in Lephalale participated in the competition under the following categories; poetry, art/drawings, singing/rap, dance, storytelling/writing and culinary. The teenagers who participated were learners in grade 8,9,10 and 12.

The participants really proved that Lephalale has talent as they showcased their different skills. The judges were impressed with the talent especially with the art/drawing category. They were inspired to see such great work produced by teenagers.

Each category had three winners with 3rd and 2nd place receiving certificates and the first place winning a prize. The show was not only entertaining but it was inspiring to see what young people are capable of. Host and star of the show Kyle MacDonald thanked everybody who participated and came to the show.
